Quality Day: Digitalising Internal Audits
Quality in healthcare is everyone's responsibility. This was the key message of this year's 5th Quality Day organised by Topolšica Hospital, where we also took part by presenting a real-world case study.
Miha Škrabar, Product Manager for Supporting Services and Internal Auditor at Mikrocop, spoke with Martina Baraga, Quality Department Specialist at University Medical Centre Ljubljana. In the interview entitled Paperless Internal Audits: A Digital Story from Practice, they explored the situation before and after the digitalisation of the internal audit process, focusing on practical experience and the benefits the change has brought to everyday work.
Quality is essential for maintaining strong partnerships and ensuring user satisfaction, and it plays an especially important role in healthcare. Well-structured, transparent and traceable processes help organisations systematically ensure quality and conduct audits more efficiently.
We also had an exhibition stand at the event, where we continued the conversation with participants about process digitalisation, exchanged knowledge and experience, and presented opportunities for more modern document and process management.
