Sustainable HR Strategies and Pay Equity at the September HR'kofi
At the September HR’kofe meeting, led by Nataša Centa, we spent a dynamic morning in the company of Larisa Grizilo, an expert in strategic compensation and pay equity.
With our guest, we explored the "HR sustainability puzzle," which forms a comprehensive HR strategy. We discussed activities that belong to each part of the puzzle, and participants shared and exchanged their experiences and practices in this area.
We also talked about the EU directive on equal pay, and our guest Larisa Grizilo specifically addressed the key elements of the upcoming directive:
- pay transparency for job seekers
- the right to information for employees
- reducing the gender pay gap and reporting
- enforcement and legal remedies.
The two hours of discussion passed quickly, as we exchanged experiences and openly addressed real challenges. An important task lies ahead for HR departments – to prepare companies in time for the implementation of the directive, while ensuring leadership support.
