What’s New in the Spring Release of InDoc EDGE
The new version of the InDoc EDGE solution brings numerous improvements focused primarily on greater efficiency, an enhanced user experience, and more reliable work in modern, including multicultural, business environments.
The updates were presented in detail during a webinar by Anton Gazvoda, an expert in business process digitalization, and Ivo Vasev, Product Manager of InDoc EDGE.
The key highlights of the upgrade show that development is focused on addressing the practical needs of users in their daily work with documents and processes. Among the most significant changes is the redesigned document locking mechanism, which ensures greater security and reduces the risk of errors when multiple users work simultaneously.
The user experience has been improved, especially in navigating between processes and tasks, enabling faster and more intuitive work. An important upgrade is also the cost allocation management, which now offers greater flexibility in distribution—particularly useful for more complex business processes.
Notable improvements also include enhanced filtering of tasks and processes for more efficient information retrieval, as well as an expanded display of search results within code lists. Users can now export task history along with related documents, improving transparency and traceability of work.
The system has been further upgraded in terms of localization, with shared elements now fully adapted to different language environments. The new version also introduces the ability for users to independently manage their email addresses within defined rules, reducing reliance on administrative support.
An important improvement has also been made in linking cases and opening them, with the process now simplified and more transparent. Among the new features is also the option to pre-validate electronic signing methods, further enhancing the security and reliability of digital processes.
The webinar provided insight into the practical benefits of the new version and its use in everyday business, and a recording (Slovene only) is also available to users.
