First HR'kofi 2024 dedicated to onboarding
This HR'kofi meeting, intended for HR professionals, was dedicated to the current topic of introducing employees to the workplace. We talked with guests Katja Juhart, HR from PwC and Tatjana Kolenc, an expert in the field of mentoring and lifelong learning, about the challenges accompanying the employment process.
The meeting, led by Nataša Centa, an expert in the digitization of HR processes, took place in a relaxed atmosphere with the desire to learn something new. Katja Juhart shared her experience with the onboarding and preboarding process, and Tatjana Kolenc emphasized the importance of mentoring, especially during the period of introducing employees to new jobs. We want to prepare the new employee for independent work as best as possible, but at the same time we want him to feel goog in the work environment as soon as possible, fit into the existing organizational culture and climate, and develop loyalty to the company.
The participants agreed that the onboarding process is an important process in HR, so it makes sense to adapt it to new employees, emphasizing the essential difference between first-time employees and experienced professionals.
The two excellent presentations initiated conversation and exchange of opinions, and above all, the experiences of the participants in the mentoring and buddy programs. We are happy to organize and provide a meeting point where a relaxed chat and a sincere exchange of views on current topics in the field of HR have a free path. We are looking forward to the next HR'kofi, which will be held on May 23rd.
