HR'kofi on the Legal Aspects of HR E-Documents

The September meeting of HR professionals was once again well-attended. The topics of employment relationships and HR documentation from a legal standpoint are always interesting and relevant, as it is crucial for all companies to operate in compliance with the law, especially where documentation involves personal data.

The guest at the September HR'kofi was mag. Maja Skorupan, a lawyer from the Senica & Partners law firm, specializing in labor law. While it may seem that establishing and terminating employment relationships is a straightforward process, it is subject to various legal and legislative aspects that the HR department must be aware of.

Maja Skorupan shared with the participants the best practices for managing these processes in a way that avoids administrative and legal pitfalls, ensuring that matters are handled efficiently and, above all, correctly. We also discussed personnel files and their forms, how to manage documentation within them, how to properly store HR data that contains a lot of personal information, and why digitalization plays an important role in automating processes, easing the workload, and reducing administrative burdens.

Nataša Centa, the host of the HR'kofi meetings, challenged the participants to bring up the challenges they face and to share their experiences and dilemmas with others.

As always, the time allocated for the meeting flew by, and the conversation could have continued well into the afternoon. Thank you to everyone who contributed to making this event enjoyable.
