As stated by Tanja Harej, HR Specialist at Pipistrel, the company places a strong emphasis on its people. They value diversity, as it unites them around shared goals and helps them stand out as a unique, successful enterprise. Over the past two years, Pipistrel has experienced a more than 50% increase in its workforce. This growth reflects effective recruitment, training, retention of diverse talent from various cultural backgrounds, and fostering an organizational environment where ideas thrive, and mistakes are seen as opportunities for learning and growth.

Collaboration is a cornerstone of Pipistrel’s culture. Thinking outside the box often yields positive results for the company. For instance, a recent project implemented by a diverse team has proven to be a resounding success—not only from a business perspective but also in terms of team dynamics, organizational development, and personal growth. Tanja firmly believes in the importance of educating, encouraging, rewarding, and appropriately motivating employees.

Recently, Pipistrel revamped its vision, mission, and values, ensuring they resonate with every team member. This alignment is critical, as employees need to identify with these guiding principles. Despite the company’s achievements, like any other organization, it faces challenges. Tanja highlights the importance of addressing these challenges effectively and promptly, with HR playing a pivotal role in the process.

During the event, participants explored practical examples of HR approaches to enhance collaboration, connection, and employee motivation.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. The next meeting is scheduled for February.
