Certificate of Conformity of the Croatian State Archives for InDoc EDGE

We have received an official confirmation from the Croatian State Archives certifying that the InDoc EDGE document management system is compliant with the legislation of the Republic of Croatia in the field of digitization and long-term preservation of documentary and archival materials.

24/7/2025

The compliance verification process was carried out in accordance with the provisions of the Act on Archival Materials and Archives and the Regulation on the Management of Documentary Materials Outside of Archives. As part of the process, the Croatian State Archives conducted a thorough review of the submitted documentation and a technical inspection of the system at Mikrocop’s premises, which included:

  • an assessment of rules, technologies, and procedures for conversion and storage of materials,
  • verification of the linkage between digital records and metadata,
  • control over ensuring the integrity of digital objects,
  • an inspection of the working environment, hardware, and document capture process.

The review confirmed that InDoc EDGE fully complies with legal and professional requirements, as evidenced by the officially issued certificate of compliance.

»The obtained certificate confirms the high level of quality and reliability of our InDoc EDGE system and our commitment to legality and compliance in all markets where we operate.«

Aid Kulić, Director Mikrocop Croatia

With the confirmed compliance of the InDoc EDGE system, we will continue to provide public authorities, financial institutions, companies, and other organizations in Croatia with a solution that enables the legal, secure, and long-term preservation of digitized documents.

The acquisition of this certificate is part of Mikrocop’s broader strategy focused on ensuring compliance, security, and the quality of digital solutions in line with local regulations. It also coincides with Fiscalization 2.0 in Croatia. The law will enter into force on September 1, 2025, and will apply from January 1, 2026. Until then, organizations are provided with a transitional period to adapt to the new business system. The law stipulates that all business entities will be required to issue digital invoices and archive them digitally.
