HR'kofi // Psychological Safety – Myth or Reality?
Once again, we spent a pleasant and content-rich morning together. A sincere thank you to all participants, as well as to the energetic lecturer and coach Daniela Bervar Kotolenko, with whom we explored the important topic of psychological safety in the workplace.
During the interactive workshop, we examined the key factors that influence how safe employees feel in their work environment and exchanged experiences and ideas on how to strengthen these elements in practice.
We concluded that psychological safety is most strongly influenced by:
- inclusion
- a sense of safety in learning and development
- safety when contributing ideas and thoughts
- safety when challenging the status quo.
Leaders play a particularly important role in this process and need to be properly educated and empowered. We also emphasized that occasional training sessions and coaching are not enough – continuous practice is essential and, as Daniela nicely summarized, it requires a “regular mental fitness routine.”
Thank you to everyone who joined us. The next HR’kofi will take place on May 13, 2026.
