Project CEDIT. SI in full swing
Effective all-inclusive and simple digital business with customers, partners and employees is becoming a key advantage of the company in the market. Companies that invest intensively in partner ecosystems for better responsiveness, faster entry into the market and higher product quality, as a rule, also reduce operating costs.
Easy communication and encouraging cooperation between employees helps to improve the flow of information. Responsive, secure and consistent integration of customers into digital business ensures a better customer experience. Practices that made sense or ware possible in the world of paper documents are obsolete and lead companies in a different, more user-friendly digital world ensuring successfull business.
The new platform for digital collaboration with employees, partners and customers, built on Mikrocop's InDoc EDGE cloud service for information management, will significantly contribute to the digital transformation of Steklarna Hrastnik in the coming years.
0 consortium partners are included in the CEDIT.SI project for comprehensive digital transformation in the glass industry with the aim of digital transformation of the value chains of the life cycles of glass packaging, advanced digitization of production and the introduction of advanced digital technologies.

The development of the platform will cover:
- Development of capabilities and solutions for friendly and efficient communication and collaboration with employees on workstations and mobile devices,
- Development of a platform for digital collaboration with partners with an emphasis on solutions for sharing, coordination, confirmation and e-signature and digital services of the project office,
- Implementation of solutions for digital collaboration with customers, including interface to CRM and complementary systems of partners in the consortium.
The platform will bring new added value and open a new channel for creating opportunities for Steklarna Hrastnik.
Development and implementation will be based on workshops with future users with the aim of better understanding the problems and expectations of the target groups, and implementation using agile Scrum and Kanban methodologies will enable ongoing verification of the adequacy of solutions and services and continuous improvement of performance.
»We will pay special attention to information security when developing capabilities and implementing collaboration solutions. By default, cooperation includes the sharing of confidential information and content, which may also include personal data, which is especially risky when external stakeholders also participate in the coordination of the content of the document«, says Ivo Vasev, product manager of InDoc EDGE.
Today, in an environment of rapid changes, hybrid work and information chaos, companies must ensure the smooth implementation of business processes, enable the secure exchange of information, consistent sharing of documents and appropriate cooperation within the company, promote the development of employees' digital competences and maintain their commitment. However, the customer experience must not suffer. Not only that, customers expect more and more.
The development of the platform will include improvements in the ability to collaborate and exchange content, easier use on different devices, better management of data on the implementation of project activities and dedicated integrations with other business systems.
The CEDIT.SI project will last till March 2024 and is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union within the NextGenerationEU Recovery and Resilience Plan.
